I lost my Splash Andalusian today. She just turned a year old May 31st. I had found her hit by a car off the road. Apparently they had cut the brush back from the road where she was was hit and when I went over there to get her a million grasshoppers flew. This is most likely what had caused her to get so close to the road like that. They never went near the road but I guess her love of grasshoppers made her go there.
Miss Prissy was the jokester of my flock. She would do things just to mess with the other chickens. Like lay in there spot on the perch just because she could and then when they would give up trying to make her move she would go to a different spot or decide to lay on top of another chicken. I will also miss her little tightrope act on top of the fence every morning.

Thank you....I really appreciate your kindness. She was one of my favorites! I will have a daily reminder of her because I was able to hatch one of her daughters that acts alot like her but is much more vocal.

This is Missy's daughter Dolly. She is Andalusian and silkie mix.
