I have 4 lovely RIR chickens who make a lot of racket and I'm hoping against hope that they aren't all roosters. They all look so similar (although I lack the expertise to identify differences among them). Can anyone help ID these "shellas"?

Okay, it was taking ages to try and insert a photo so I uploaded to shutterfly. I know it's inconvenient, but if you have time to view the photos and identify their gender I would be sooooo grateful.

Looks like there all hens but there production red not Rhode Island Reds.

Thank you for such a speedy reply! That is good news. Do hens usually make so much noise? We are allowed to have them in our area, but I worry that they are disturbing the neighbors. What is the difference with production reds versus RIRs?

Thanks again.

Hens make a lot of noise at point of lay.

I think they are hatchery RIR. I don't see why they would be considered production red.. Just not up to type.

Depends on where you got them from but most production reds are either Rhode Island Reds that have been bred more for egg production and the then loose a lot of the breed Rhode Island Red characteristics or they can also be a Rhode Island Red with a lot of Leghorn bred into them.
