My 8 week old chicks are SUPPOSED TO BE RIR chickens, but, the roosters have irridesent green tail feathers. Also, they are very dark, dark reddish brown.
Hmmmmm. I got the chicks through Ideal Hatchery via my feed store. Could they be red sex link chicks or something else entirely? If I could figure out how to post pictures from my Kodak Gallery to this web site I would post some.
