RIR silkie mix?

has anyone ever had a RIR mix with a silkie? id like to see pics of it. i caught my silkie roo on my RIR hen this morning.

yea i know! thats why i wanted to see a pic if anyone had some hatch.

I just replied to a similar question yesterday. From the silkie X LF breeds that I've seen, the result sould be a bird that is pretty much standard sized, smooth feathered, feather legs, and a small crest and I believe it should be red, but that may depend on the color of the silkie roo.

If believe it is nearly impossible to tell what the outcome would be when crossing with white silkies because you can't tell what color they are masking under the white, so I think you will have to just wait and see what you get.

I have a pullet from this cross. Her father is a White Silkie and the mother is a RIR (hatchery bird).
