Hello! This a thread of our two flocks. The first one is the mix-and-match flock. They are all called this because it is various breeds (and varying levels of intelligence). They are all standard hens/pullets. The second flock is our show bantams. Their flock name is Ivy's gale. It is named after our chickens that passed away, Ivy and Nightingale. Now for all the breeds. For the first flock it is:
Pheonix - Buff Orpington Hen. Two years old and fairly calm. She is a blob. And I love her.
Holly - Buff Orpington Hen. Two years old. She is a bit of a queen bee and likes her way. She is loved.
Piper - Barred Rock Hen. Two years old. She is nicknamed Dory for a reason.
Maxine or Maxi - Black and Gold EE Pullet. 6 months old. She is not the sharpest tool in the shed. Or rather "The prettiest hen at the fair".
Raven - Black Australorp. 6 months old. She is fluffy and makes cute sounds.
Fleur - Black Sex Link. 6 months old. She is sweet and a bit of a loner.
Now the bantam flock!
Iris - Wheaten OEGB. 1 year old. Docile and is a amazing show hen.
Plum or Plumpy or Plumpkin or Plump Plum - Partridge Wyandotte. 4 years old. She is a bit of a sweet old lady.
Butters or Buttery - Splash OEGB. 9 months old. She is nervous as all-get-out.
We are currently thinking about getting a new show bantam! Pictures soon!
