roasting poles

what do your bird like the most size width an do circler or square.i have some tourkeys chickens an a few peacocks.
 
pretty sure you mean roosting poles... most birds like flat perches, especially in a cold climate. i use 2x6's for my bantams and thats more than fine, i'm not sure if turkeys even roost but i know that peacocks need good roosts.
 
I usually use three cut branches for roasting. I cut two for the uprights and a third to turn and do the actual roasting with.
 
"Roasting poles"??? I usually use a metal spit over the fire.

For Roosting poles 2x4's with the large side laid flat for my standards and heavies. My OEG have a 1inch dowel rod. Thinking of doing the same for the bantams

i got them a 2x10 12ft long an put it 4 ft off the ground i think that should do it thanks for the help.
