Is there any difference in the offspring if you use a Barred Rock rooster on White Rock hens or a White Rock rooster on Barred Rock hens

Yes, but it depends upon the individuals dominant and recessive genes.

Is there any difference in the offspring if you use a Barred Rock rooster on White Rock hens or a White Rock rooster on Barred Rock hens

If both parents are pure for color/pattern and breed;

Barred Rock Rooster over a White Rock Hen -- All offspring will be "Barred"
White Rock Rooster over a Barred Hen -- Male offspring will be "Barred" and Female offspring will be Black

Note -- The Barring in the offspring will not be a very good Barring and will be fuzzy and wider than good Barring on a pure Barred Rock.
