Rocks in my incubator??

Had a crazy thought. What do you all think about putting rocks in an incubator to help hold and regulate temperature? Has anyone done it? Results? Thoughts at all?

I have used this method to help regulate temps while preparing the incubator for eggs with some success.

I use (as instructed by Mentor) small jars of water. You can use a small olive jar, or, I use small jelly jars for canning. They fit well, although not with a turner, but then a rock wouldn't either, I suppose.

Water works well. I just put in several bottled water containers.
