Barred rock/Plymouth rock do they bear confinement well as i can't free range

Yes, they can bear confinement although most chickens want as much space as possible.

I have several different breeds and all are fine with confinement.

The majority of the heavy breeds take confinement well. Rhode Reds, Orpingtons, Brahmas, Giants, Sussex, etc....
