Roll out nest box designs

I've been having a big issue with something eating my eggs lately, cracking a little hole in the egg and eating some of it then leaving the rest. I don't know if a mouse could do something like that or if it's the multiple grackles that have shown up this year. Either way I've wanted roll out nest boxes for some time now, does anyone have any designs? Nothing too fancy but something that works. (Also, do you think it's grackles or mice?)

I was thinking if one added an inclined plane such as this to their existing nest box to serve as a false bottom and either installed a slanted ledge for the eggs to roll under or a second inclined plane to allow the eggs roll under the first that may serve as an answer to a roll away nest box in your current set up. If I have a problem with egg eaters again I may put it into practice. A picture is worth a thousand words as the old saying goes..
