Is there any way to protect my hens from my amorous rooster? He has just about pulled all the feathers off a couple of my hens. There are others that he doesn't seem to bother, but these two or three just look awful! Are there boots for roosters or do I just need to find him a new home?

They do make some boots for them that also help protect them from bumblefoot (a double bonus). I saw them in a magazine once, maybe try googleing it. They also make hen "saddles" which protect the hen as well. Those are very common.
