Roo - Breed mixed silkie and ???

This boy has me stumped. The breeder said silkie and barred rock, but i have no idea. I've seen a cuckoo orpingtons look a little like him. Your

thoughts??

I have some barred socks and silkies and see the resemblance. I'm not a chicken breed expert though so I can't tell you for sure, but he sure is handsome!

Thank you... though he is handsome, he's the absolute craziest chicken I've ever encountered. I know chickens aren't known for their intelligence, but.... this one is a complete head-case!

I doubt he has either silkie or Rock in him.
Silkie blood would give black skin, not a straight comb, a crest and five toes.
A Rock would have a very different body shape, no feathered legs, yellow skin.

His barring shows he's a mixed breed bird, he could have Cochin or maybe Marans, something like that.
