Roo hates me all of a sudden?

My rooster has been the sweetest little fella for 2 years and since this last spring he has it out for me. Attacking me every time he sees me. Does anyone know why all of a sudden he thinks of me as an enemy?
He is about 4 years old (he was adopted)

This may sound odd, and it’s a long shot, but has anything about you changed?

New boots? New jacket you wear all the time? Drastic haircut?

I’ve heard stories about a new color garment or egg basket or something setting chickens off. It’s possible he just doesn’t recognize you.

It could be a stupid small thing like you cut your hair differently, you're using new shoes, etc.... Chickens aren't very smart. Lots of people complain of roosters suddenly turning on them when they got new shoes or something ridiculous like that.

Nope. Nothing has changed at all. He just decided he now hates me
