11-12 weeksDo you know how old they are?
I think I agree, the neck feathers seem a little stringy like they're going to be long (roo)I'm thinking it's a roo. It's something mixed with a Splash Ameraucana - the mohawk is.... interesting. Never seen anything like it.

In that case I'd lean pullet on the first bird and cockerel on the second, just based on comb and wattle color and size. (Even though we can't see the comb on the first bird, it looks really pale and I don't see any male specific feathers on either bird at the moment.)They are 2 different chickens. We are in CA (Bay Area) the one with the crooked toe gets around totally fine. Thank goodness. That one has the redder comb. I did a Google lens search with them and the British Aracauna did come up. But other people said that they’re a mix. We can’t have roosters so I’m just preparing just in case we have to rehome them with feed storeI'd lean cockerel, and it's definitely splash colored. I don't know where you're located but it reminds me of a British Araucana with the muffs and small crest.
Also, those toes are pretty crooked. I assume it gets around ok?

They both must have crooked toes then. No big deal, I was just a little confused for identification purposes. Either way within a couple weeks you'll have a much better idea whether they're male or female. They are 2 different chickens. Each pic is a different chicken
