Looks like a pullet to me so far. That color is a hen color, and I don't see any sickle feathers on the back near the tail.

Thanks everyone!!!!!! I'm new to chicks. Inherited my full grown hens last year so was unsure. So glad to hear it! May be a dumb question, but can you tell what color eggs they will lay by their leg color? These two EE have green legs.

You're welcome. Green legs is a very common color in EEs and cannot be used to predict egg color although combined with that pea comb, there is a very good chance that her eggs will be some shade of green.

I think she is gorgeous. She has the most beautiful green eyes and the cutest muff. She is also very sweet and loves to be held. I have 1 year old EE's and get blue eggs and dark green eggs but not quite olive. Hoping to get an olive Egger in May.

I agree; she's a pullet. Also the comb looks to be a single row of peas instead of the triple row that cockerels typically have.

Looks like a very pretty pullet to me. I'm glad I looked in on this thread, as I am raising 7 EE pullets and I learned some new things about them.

My girls are about 6 weeks old. Bought them sexed and I think they're all pullets, although the first one has a really well developed comb so far. Some of them are very similar, but each pic is a different bird (I hope).
