What's a good Roo to Hen ratio?

I've heard 8 to 1 or 10 to 1.

10 hens to 1 rooster is what I have read on here so that's what I go by.

OK Well I have 6 girls and I may be getting 2 roos here soon. Hopefully I will be getting more girls at an auction this weekend so hopefully the roos will be ok. Do I need to worry about them fighting?

For large fowl birds, the minimum is 1 roo to 10 hens. For bantams, you can get away with pairs and trios, depending on the fertility and how active the rooster is. Otherwise, the ratio is the same.
