This chicken is a bit more aggressive then the others... its tail is also up and the others are not...

I am trading with the woman I got them from for a hen because I already for sure have one crowing rooster.. I need to know if I should take this one back too. What do you guys think? I am new to this.

Thanks, Brittany =]

It's not always easy to tell from a picture but here are some things that I noticed at 10 weeks:

Comb and waddles very red - most hens won't redden up until right before they start laying at 16+ weeks (depending on breed)

Legs on a cockerel are usually quite a bit thicker than legs of a pullet.

Feathers on his back, right above his tail, are growing longer and pointed (almost look like hairs draping down). These are called saddle feathers and only roosters will get them. If you run a web search for a rooster photo, it will be easy to distinguish these feathers. On your picture it looks like your chicken is starting to get these.

That's why I'd say that this is a young cockerel. Only time will tell for sure, but at 10 weeks I'd say very likely a male.
