Bought 6 "pullets" from my local farm store a couple of weeks ago. I think they were a month old when I bought them. They are all about the same size but one has a comb that is much larger and much more red in color. All six are Buff Orps. I am thinking one of my girls is a boy. Does anyone who has raised Buff Orpintons have an opinion, can I tell boys vs girls this early by comb size and color? Thanks!

sounds like a rooster to me, I got some free from Ideal, and all the roosters combs changed to red a whole lot faster than the hens.
