Rookie seeking your advice for buying chickens!!

I'm going to buy 4 birds from this flock this weekend. I would love to hear your advice on picking good birds and most importantly ensuring they are HENS! Thanks in advance

What I would look for in birds when I buy them would be the fact that the feathers look nice. Also that there are no bald spots. They look more alert than tired all the time.

I can't quite tell if they are girls or not. Would need better pictures to tell.

Thanks 5SweetChicks.. very helpful! The woman said they are 4 months old- do you know any dead give away signs I should look for for girls vs. boys?

I looked at the pics closer. I think the first one (the real orange-ish one looks like a rooster.) he has a larger comb than the other one and his saddle feathers look like they would be a rooster's saddle feathers. Mainly what you should look for would be a large comb on them. Dead give away.
