Roost length for a mixed flock

Good morning (or whenever you're reading this) all. I have a question on roost length. I know the acceptable rule of thumb is 9-10" per bird. But would about 8" per bird be allowable, if around half your flock is going to be bantams?

Yes, I believe that eight inches per bird would be fine for bantams.

Thanks - considering the planned 3 "standards" aren't really big to begin with, I figured it would be safe, but why not ask. Not trying to over think it, but why not double check once or twice huh?
