Roost/Perch Ideas

Hey guys, I'm about to build a new coup for my rarer breeds and want the most sanitary design for a perch I can build. The design I have is good, but I think I could do better, as they are currently getting their waste on the walls. Any ideas? Experiences?

My chicks seam to get "it" on the walls too. They scratch in their litter and throw it up there.
