Rooster acting funny and falling asleep standing up. HELP!

Hi, I have a rooster who is falling asleep standing up. I had another chicken that did this a few weeks ago and died.
I can't tell what color is droppings are because they all free range during the day.
Does anyone have any idea what it is or what I can do?? Please help! I don't want to lose another chicken!

Is there any mold he could have gotten into? Does he have mites? I would isolate him in the house and make him as comfortable as you can. Make sure he has food and water and then wait and see or you could take him to a vet.

I have a buff roo that I noticed doing that last week. Didnt think anything of it but now he is walking like he is drunk and is getting worse by the day. I have got him some electrolites in his water and trying to keep him still. It is extremely hot here and I think it may be affecting him...not sure though. Sorry im no help but maybe we can help each other by describing the symptoms, temps, etc...

I have a pullet doing this same thing. She did it back in may and just about died then. I have no idea how/why she pulled through since at one point she was flat on her side twitching. I have felt since then that she is very fragile and heat sensitive and even a little "off". Well yesterday she was acting drunk again and I had noticed her feathers drooping a bit the day before. It's been very hot here in VA again like it was before she did this last time. I put her in a crate in the basement with poultry nutri drench, food and bread and today she's a bit worse. I am wondering if this is a mold reaction? I don't see any mites or lice and do keep DE in their feed and in the coop and dust bath. We have 4 birds with clipped beaks and 5 without and they free range in a large fenced in area. My clipped beak chickens seem to always have mites which I'm always after, but not the birds with beaks. I give them an organic locally grown chicken feed and they waste a lot which I'm attributing to their clipped beaks. I am afraid there are little bits of mold on the ground and with her full beak, I'm worried she gets them (even though she has tons of room to get other stuff). I'm actually considering a feed switch for this girl. I'm going to do a search on aflatoxin. Please let me know how your roo is and what you have done for him! Thanks!

I have a cockerel who is also falling asleep pretty much all the time and a hen who recovered from something like that a few weeks ago. I isolated the hen and gave her a mix of scrambled eggs, yogurt, and corn. She managed to pull through and is doing better now, but I am really worried about my cockerel. He's only about 7 weeks old.

It may be a mold issue for me, since they always manage to find old feed on the ground.
