Rooster and Hen Fighting

Since I am new here and to having chickens, I am hoping that someone can explain what my chickens are doing. For the last week or so I have been seeing my Dominiquer rooster and hen "fighting". They will stand in front of each other and stare, then jump in the air, it looks just like they are getting ready to fight. They are about 22 weeks old or so. Is this normal? I could understand 2 roosters doing this, but a hen and roo? Please help.

Sounds like they are having a disagreement on who is dominant.

It's not terribly common, but it is normal. My first rooster fought with about 4 out of the 25 hens, the rest just accepted him. Don't worry, they'll work it out.
