Rooster and hens hiding and purring\ singing like

I have a Rooster that keeps hiding out, he keeps making purring and singing sounds. I noticed he sticks his behind in the air a little as well. Not sure on this behavior?.... I also have another rooster he’s guarding them it seems. I have other members of the flock not bothered walking around normally.

He's selecting a nest site and telling the hen that it would be an excellent place to lay an egg and build her clutch. The sound and actions are typical of this.

This sounds extremely accurate!!! He seems so content and singing.
