Rooster and hens

I have a rir rooster that is by himself because he fights with my other rooster so I am wondering how many hens would you suggest to keep him company? The area is only able to hold about 4 birds without being over crowded. Could I keep 2 hens without him driving them crazy?

I normally keep 5 or 6 hens to one rooster. sometimes more.

no, 2 it wont drive him crazy, i have 1 rooster and 13 hens and he is i love

but 2 hens is ok for one rooster

No, I don't want him driving them crazy lol. That's why I wondered if 2 would be enough to keep him happy but not terrorize the girls.

It's hard to say, there are several variables....you could try it and see, many breeders keep pairs, trios and quads housed together.
