Rooster and info needed

I need a rooster
I would perfer a large meat type but most any will work for now.

I would like info also on what breeds are best for large meat birds, (not meatkings though).
I have a great little hobby chicken farm going and I think meat is a good move for me.

Also wondered if there is such a thing as a silent rooster?

There is no such thing as a silent rooster by breed. By personality, some are quieter than others.

Any of the dual purpose roosters would probably work for you. You don't mention what breed your hens are, but I'd suggest you consider a Wyandotte rooster. With your location, the comb of a Wyandotte is a little better in the cold weather. Chanteclers and Buckeyes may also be worth a look.

I have three barred plymoth rocks that I'm looking to sale 6 months old... if you are interested in any of them let me know and I'll try to send you some measurements. What are you looking to pay? I'm in Florida (near Tampa) so I'm guess that shipping would cost quiet a bit. They are a very hardy duel purpose breed that does well in the heat and the cold. These three are big babies, not aggressive or noisy. Infact, I can't say that I've ever heard any of the three crow... my RIR on the other hand is noisy!
