An experience: 3 rooster chicks about 5 weeks old started fighting. Oh my I had never seen such young ones fight like they were going to kill each other. One had a mouth full of chick fuzz, the other would not let go of a wing, and the other had his neck wrapped around another's neck. The three of them, oh, my.
I am in the city, and fortunately I know a farmer lady who can take roosters.
We got them in the car, made a few stops and got side tracked because of interstate issues so came back home with the naughty boys. When we get back the three naughty roosters are being very very nice.
I put them back in with the others and not another fight. Peaceful birds. The change of taking them out into different surroudings must have shook them up and put them in place.
I thought it was interesting.
