My 4 month old White Leghorn rooster fought off a big ole red tail hawk this afternoon. He had a small cut on his earlobe, but other than that looks fine. However, after the fight he is acting a little weird. He laid around all day today and didn't go out to look for food with the girls. He pretty much didn't do anything but lay on the ground and sleep. I checked him thoroughly and did not find any real wounds on him. Is it possible he is in shock? Should I be doing something to help him out? Thanks!
