Hello! I hope all is well! I am currently looking for advice on one of my roosters, specifically his behavior towards one person:
It started yesterday when that person went out to give them some bread and suddenly, as the person's back was turned, the roo attacked. This has never happened before and this particular rooster is the sweetest one, letting me pick him up with ease. I tried to make the rooster like this person more by picking him up, and letting the person pet him, but this just ended in the rooster drawing blood with a bite. As aforementioned, this rooster has never shown any type of aggression before, and he is still on good terms with every other person he deals with. Any recommendations/potential reasons why this rooster hates this specific person?
Thanks and Best Wishes!
PS
A piece of extra info:
The rooster didn't attack when that person was feeding him treats, but did attack right after.

This bird is a liability! How old is he, and was his victim an adult, or a smaller person?
@sourland has had the same experiences we've had here; human aggressive roosters only get worse!
At least, this person needs to have zero contact with this bird. I've given up trying to reform idiots who attack people, it just isn't worth it, and injuries definitely can and will happen.
