Anybody else’s roosters go in the nesting boxes and call the girls in and rearrange the bedding for them? Never heard of this before but it’s pretty darn cute. He did this right before my Cochin, who had never laid before, laid her first egg! Crazy how he knew/made her lay lol

My silkie roo will do that, he’ll go in and make sure the nest is ready. When I built the addition to the coop, he went in and made a nest, then called his girls. And you’re right, it is pretty darn cute.
