Rooster Breed ID...EE maybe?

I got some eggs from my dad's friend to use in my first set the hens are RIRs and he has a rooster but didn't know the breed, i think it's an EE what do you think?

I agree- or a Rock or Orp- but those are less common in splash.

Beautiful Splash color, looks like slate colored legs, single comb.
To far away to see if he has white earlobes. If he has white earlobes he could be a Splash Andalusian.
A closer picture would help.
