Rooster breed ID

Hey y’all — this poor rooster blew in during the storms at my friends house (a VERY suburban area so we have NO idea where he’s come from) — can y’all possibly ID the breed? Is he just a mutt?

He's an oldtimer. Looks like a poor quality Polish or a Polish cross to me.

We’re going to contact the local high schools FFA teachers to make sure he’s not a show rooster that a kid lost before we bring him 2 hours north.

I live in Bryan TX now but this is in my hometown of Kingwood at my moms best friends house. She said “most people have limbs, trees, or fences down and I have a ******* rooster” which made us laugh hysterically.
