Rooster breed? please help!

We got this guy here full-grown, but we are not sure about the breed. He is pretty mellow compared to prior roosters and relatively quiet as well. Compared to our last rooster, "a blue star" he is noticeably bigger. Any ideas on breed would be greatly appreciated.

Also he has scaly leg mites, which needs to be treated.

We got him off FB farm and ranch here MT. Thanks for the info on mites, will treat asap.
