Rooster breed suggestions?

i want a rooster and I need a child friendly roo. He needs to be loyal to his hens as well. Any suggestions?

I don't have any right now. I'm getting 6 hens and want a roo to protect. And a good family pet.

Silkie roosters are gentle and the don't have spurs. I would trust my bigboy with any child.

Silkies are nice. Don't get any other bantams, from my experience, they aren't too nice.

The barred one is his hatch mate, he tolerates being held but doesn't welcome it.

Haha that's great! I just don't really want a silkie roo mating with other hens I might get like BO. Those baby's would look kinda scary
