rooster burying his head?

Our young rooster is acting so strange today. Three times I had to pull him out of the wood pile. He's shoved himself through the fence and got stuck. Just now I had to pull him out of a hole where he shoved his head into. Anyone know what is wrong.

Are some of the flock (perhaps a dominant rooster) picking on him? It sounds as if he is trying to get away from an aggressor.
