I have a broody cochin frizzle. She has ben on the nest FOREVER! She has been before and gone about 6-8 weeks, then one day hopped off and joined the flock. (I take the eggs away) So, when she did it again I figured I'd let it run the course vs. caging her up to break it. This time I didn't keep track of how long, but I know its been way longer than before. I boot her off the nest twice a day, but my frizzle cochin rooster chases her back up. I have to keep him away so she can drink and eat a nibble. She doesn't fluff at me anymore. I'm starting to wonder if shes on the nest to stay away from him, not to set. My Americana is broody too now, but shes bigger than the rooster and doesn't get chased as bad. Any suggestions or opinions?
