I have a 2 year old bantam rooster with a foot ailment and a much larger (like 4 times) 5 month old Ameracauna rooster. Is there any chance that the two of them will get along and that I won't find the little bantam rooster the sad loser of a fight for supremacy? I have 26 hens and a generous area for the chickens to range, as well as
a large penned area and coop.

It mostly depends on the temperament of your roosters. You have more than enough hens for them not to fight if they are nice. Keep in mind you will still have little squabbles (like chest bumping) to figure out rank. They say you should have at least 10 hens per rooster. I have 3 (1 unknown age and 2 8 mo old) roosters and 10 (8 mo old) hens and they do fine. My 8 mo old roosters on occasion will bump chests once and walk away. When they even look at my older rooster he crows and they go away never touching. It can be done and every flock is different.

Forgot to add: My older rooster can walk with clearance room under my 8 mo olds.
