i have put beacon grease on his comb. wanting to know what this is and how to fix it please.

what cause dry pox? sorry about the spelling bacon. what should we be give him more of in his to stop this?
 
Fowl Pox is usually caused by mosquitos. There's not much you can do but they typically heal on their own.

Watch for any yellowish pus in the mouth. That is the more serious version called wet pox.

..and don't touch them, it can make the virus spread and introduce bacteria.
