Rooster continues with lethargy

Hi my one year old rooster just completed a 5 day course of tylan for a nasty respiratory infection. All respiratory symptoms have cleared up. However he continues with extreme lethargy. We are force feeding and watering him. He is pooping regularly. They vet said to continue another 5 days of tylan. Has anyone had this experience? Can tylan cause lethargy?

I would give him probiotics and vitamins in addition to the antibiotics.

So continue antibiotics along with probiotics? What about subq injections for hydration?
