Rooster crowing in the middle of the night.

Over the winter i put out a heat lamp. They have acted normal all winter until now. My rooster is crowing in the middle of the night! Anyone have this happen. Is it the heat lamp? NEED ANSWERS

Roosters naturally crow when there is light. (crack of dawn) I know somebody who removes their rooster from the coop at night so he won't disturb the neighbors. (She puts a towel over his cage so he won't crow as much) That is the best solution I can think of. Somebody else may have a better one, though... Good Luck.

My rooster crows when he sees anything, hears anything, thinks about anything etc! My coop is an old shed that I can shut up tight so we can't hear the rooster!

Some people bring their roosters inside atnight and keep them in a cat carrier or something shorter to restrict his being able to stretch out his neck

Take the heat lamp out. I can't imagine it's cold enough anywhere now to really need one.

My roosters crow at night during a full moon.

They also crow at night when the porch light goes on. They've been really confused the last few months because our puppy gets up at least once a night to potty, so I turn the light on. I've got crowing roosters all night long!
