Rooster culling

We’ve decided over that past month that culling our cockerel is the best option. He won’t let us near him or the full on flying attack kicks in lol so my question is: what is the best way to cull him if we can’t get near him? Do we need to just man up and grab him? Thanks!!

Large fishing net works great for catching, or you can just whack his neck with a solid, fairly heavy stick (even a good broom stick works)

Grab him from the roost at night and lock him up somewhere you can get him the next day. Or do the job then if you are not going to eat him or let someone else have the opportunity to eat him.

I don't chase chickens, I especially wouldn't try to 'catch' an attacking cock/erel during the day. Grab him off the roost at night and put him in a crate.

or put out a pan of feed and just pick up which one I want,,,
