So just the other day my grandmother and I bought a very lovely silver laced wyandottes for our Brahma gaming rooster.
Things went alright till he lowered his wings down and started to do a stomping dance. He would sort of crab walk to her until he made a wrong move where they both went ballistic and started to have a bit of a fight which we had to break up before things got too serious for any of them (he lost one of his tail feathers). Thankfully after that they became comfortable with each other. So I am guessing this is normal chicken behavior?
Today they were in their pen eating side by side not having a problem at all.
I was wondering will these two ever breed? The original owner at the Erie County Fair told us that these two breeds would do well together.
I was also told by someone that his stomping gesture was the rooster's mating dance but wasn't quiet sure so I decided to ask here.
Thank you for reading and hope to hear from anyone who may read this
