Rooster "dancing" with another Rooster

Does anybody know why my White Bearded Silkie Rooster would start (out of the blue) doing the mating dance with my Silver Cuckoo Maran Rooster?

I have seen my roosters do it to each other before starting a fight. It could be a show of confidence in attempt to scare the other rooster. Or your silkie has to much fluff in his eyes and is having a little trouble figuring out who is who.

I think he knows who he is dancing with, lol. We put the three Roosters out by themselves in the mornings to give the girls a break. He just started doing it a few days ago. Actually, when the girls are out, the Silkie lets the Maran have at the girls, but runs the RIR off.

Wing dancing is a display of dominance, usually. Nobody is excluded in this, be it hen, fellow male, human handlers, or even the barn cat.....roosters don't discriminate.
