ROOSTER EATIN ALL MY EGGS!!! PLEASE HELP!!!

any advice as how to stop the roo from eating the eggs?? and if i put them in separate pens how often can i let them visit? she gets upset when shes not with shes never been alone, and i am wanting as many fertile eggs that i can get and i only have one, not even sure if its fertile

(buying a bator today).

I've heard you can let the egg-eater peck at fake eggs (wood or golf balls, or something like that)...he'll get bored or frustrated at them for not breaking and it might help break the habit. Keep several fake eggs in the coop, nest boxes, wherever gets his attention...he'll eventually not be obsessed with pecking at them.

Also, obviously, collect the good eggs as soon as possible, before he gets a chance at them.

peepers are little "sunglasses" that clip onto the beak so the bird cant see straight on.

well, if you're not overly attached to the roo, send him to freezer camp and get yourself a new rooster.
