Rooster fertile or not!

At what age does a cockerel become fertile? My guys are almost 4 months old and they are chasing the hens around, is this too young or the expected age for fertility???

they're fertile when they're doing the deed..... it will take them a while to get the moves down.... they're on schedule.... if your hens are older they may play hard to get until the roos mature a bit more... if they're the same age it will be a month or 2 until the girls are ready........

My hens are all a little over a year old.

What breed are your birds?
My Buff Orps are fertile and he's not yet 4 months old. His hen is a year old.
