i have 5 different breed that amount to 1 rooster to 4 hens. all are in separate inclosures measureing from 10x10 to 12x12 all pens are in a 2000sq ft main pen, yes i built on this for 3 years before the 1st chickens were ordered, everyday a different flock gets to forage in the big pen for a few hours. everybody sees everybody else all day so, so far for 5 years there has been no fighting. I am a stay at home mom and in and outside all day with the other critters and I have seen no fighting except with the ducks. they are to close together so am building new pens for them. It may take awhile but everybody will work it out in time.
