Rooster foot won’t stop bleeding

How do I stop the blood flow? I put pressure on it, but it won’t really stop. It gets especially worse when I set him up right again. Should I put cornstarch on it? I’ve use that on bleeding dog toes before. I don’t know what to do. Help. I think it might be a Bloodfeather bleeding. there is a literal blood trail from the coop to the house, when I carried him in. I am now covered in it too.

I know this is an old post but I just had to do this with one of my quail. I was recommended to use cornstarch, and it seemed to work. Pressure hadn't worked for me either.
