If your rooster is a bantam I’ve found just holding them and letting them know whose boss can curb the aggression. I bought a rooster in January who wasn’t tame at all and he’s now a total sweetheart because i hold him so much...sounds like your roosters already very tame so it’s just a matter of letting him know your in charge and not a threat
