Hi all,
Never had to come to this section of BYC before... I've got a rooster who's always been prone to being picked on, but I had moved him from a coop with just boys to a coop with one boy and 11 girls, he sure was rude to those girls, so I exiled him to a lone section of a 4-section coop. Somehow he got in with my two Marans boys and they did NOT like that. I have no idea how long he had been in there - maximum 2-3 days, but my guess would be 1 maybe 2 full days. I found him in the corner of the coop all bloodied up and VERY lethargic and weak. Brought him inside and he hasn't moved much since then. I brought him in Friday evening and he's drank just a few sips of water, but is just so weak. I think I need to get him some electrolytes or something to just give him a little boost, but I just haven't ever done this before so I don't know how/where to start. ANY advice would be very very appreciated. Thank you in advance.
