Oh my god, so.… Our Roo Zelenskyy (and his brother) is around 5 months old, and he’s been working hard to impress our laying hens. He has his bro keep an eye on the pullets they hatched w/ while he tries his best to impress the hens. up until now his random mounting of the top hen has been met with him being chased off, pride wounded, up until yesterday..I race outside because my brother and mother are wheezing. I get the story- Ze raced up to Margaery, fluffed himself up, and mounted her. shockingly, she let him! However, once he finished, she whipped around and chased him.. right into our four ducks. ducks who promptly said ohhhh! That looks fun! And proceeded to full pelt chase him… again. And again. And again. Lesson learned; don’t breed with the ducks around..
or not. He managed to get on top of one of the ducks today.
